So I am actually spending a quick weekend in Rome before I head to Tokyo and Seoul Fashion Weeks! The reason for the trip is to celebrate my 30th birthday with my family and Jorge. Anyway, I love Italy, and this is my third trip to Rome, which is perfect because now I have seen all the tourist stuff and I can simply wander about and EAT and shop. I happened to pass the Moschino Store on Via del Bubuino on my way from Piazza del Poppo to Piazza Spanga and I saw this cool display in the window, which I can only attribute to the fact that Moschino knew it was my 30th and wanted to celebrate! 🙂

One of my absolute favorite Spanish designers, Sita Murt currently has a fabulous AW collection out called Urban Girl. I saw these clothes walk the runway last season, and adored the collection, so I was of course thrilled to be invited to the Sita Murt Bloggers Event, where I was able to learn more about the collection, take photos, and chat with other fashion bloggers in Madrid.
The collection was very signature Sita, featuring a lot of warm knitwear and perfectly constructed garments. The collection was divided into 5 parts, each entitled with the name of a city. The items in each group represented trends in looks inspired by each city. My personal favorite was of course, New York! However, I enjoyed looks as well from the four other cities, Madrid, Barcelona, Paris and London.
I knew I couldn’t stay away from such good sales for long! I stopped into Lefties today and had amazing luck. I was excited also because I have been waiting to get a pair of Tom’s in the USA and I got these cheapie imitations to hold me over until I arrive!
Prices: Black Dress, 7.99, Tank 9.99, Long Sleeved with Mesh 9.99, Shoes 9.99 (what a steal! #heartrebajas)
I usually have more luck in summer rebajas than in winter so I was really looking foward to checking out Mango and Zara today. I am only posting my two favorite purchases, but there will probably be more to come soon. I was thrilled because sometimes I get good stuff at rebajas but it’s not dirt cheap. But what I found was not only awesome but dirt cheap! My lucky day!
Mango Dress, 12.99 Euros
Zara Shoes, 15.99 Euros
After seeing the fabulous ¨Mrs. Carter¨tour in Milan last weekend (recap to come shortly!) I knew I had to post on her fabulous and very reasonably priced swimwear line for H&M.
The suits are cute, sexy and fun and stay within H&M´s normal price range, which I think is great! The images are gorgeous, and they show young women what real curves are allllll about-no stick figure skinny models here!
Her billboards are plastered throughout Europe so I think the line has been highly advertised-better stop in and grab your suit before they sell out!
I am not the hugest fan of the shop C&A here in Spain. It reminds me of JC Penny and it´s not a bad place to shop, it´s just not particularly my style. However, I have to say that when I saw Cindy Crawford as the spokesperson for the spring C&A line, I stopped to look!
After researching, I realized that there is actually a Cindy Crawford COLLECTION. Here are a few images below. For more you can stop into the store of course. What do you guys think? Do you like the clothes? Would you wear them?
Federica & Co. is a new type of project here in Madrid. It consists of several shops and items smattered about a little courtyard. They call it a concept store, I call it fabulous.
The space is a beautiful courtyard which seems worlds away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city. You stroll in and start to see flowers and gardening objects, wine and picnic baskets. There are many shops in the space, one of them being Federica & and Co. and the others being Mimoki, Yellow & Stone, Charlotte and Ma., Ana Corsini, Sister Jane, The Flying Cow, and Brumalis and the occasional pop up shop. Until next week the pop up shop is Stella Rittwagen.
Federica and Co. offers cooking classes Mon-Thurs from 8:30-12:30. The occasional wine tastings are offered as well. Within the shops you can purchase wine, kitchen and cooking items, flowers, gardening items, clothes, accessories, childrens clothes and more.
This special space is unlike any other. I suggest stopping in for a visit as soon as possible.
