Best Dressed Emmy´s 2012

This year at the Emmy´s there was a sea of bright colors, which was interesting, given that black is usually the choice of many celebs.  I actually didn´t love a lot of the styles this year-a lot of excess fabric and sweetheart necklines, which isn´t always super flattering.  The leg slit made a big appearence this year too.  Every designer wants to throw in a giant leg slit (hoping for an Angelina Jolie leg moment, perhaps?!) but it doesn´t always work on certain dresses.  Or on certain people.

But I did really like a few styles, and you can see them below.

Cat Deeley shine in this bright Orange, Tadashi Shoji mermaid style dress.

Julie Bowen who I think often looks overly thin, looked healthy and gorgeous in this  Monique Lhuillier dress.

Finally, something a little different.  Many critics didn´t like this Naeen Khan dress, but I think Leslie Mann looks amazing and I give her credit for trying something original.  In my book, it´s perfect!

Giuliana Rancic, who I find to be inspiring and fabulous, looks stunning in this black Romona Keveza dress.  I liked that she strayed away from the typical sweetheart or basic strapless neckline and went for something architectural and different.  Showstopper!
