Escaparte of the Week: Designers for Equality

Now I know my blog is mainly Madrid based but I couldn´t pass up the opportunity to share such a wonderful ´Escaparate´with you all, even if it is in NYC! Especially with Pride week coming up, I feel it´s of importance to share this with my readers.

Three top American designers have unvieled a stunning window display featuring HRC’s New Yorkers for Marriage Equality Campaign.  And the the designers are…

Michael Kors, Kate Spade, and Levis!!!

These designers have all worked together to create this amazing display in their storefronts in the grand, the fabulous, the one and only… New York City!

It´s so important to have the support of influential people like designers and celebs with the upcoming NYC vote to legalize gay marriage coming so soon.   The campaign also features video testimonals by several well known people, such as Moby, Whoopi Goldberg, Vanessa Williams, Anna Wintour, Larry King, Lucy Liu, Joan Rivers, Barbara Bush, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Kevin Bacon, and the list goes on!

I LOVE THIS!!!!  I have always been a supporter of marriage equality (really, what true fashionista isn´t? Everyone knows that the best designers…((and friends hehe)) are gay!) and it makes me happy to see this kind of support!  These are the times I desperately miss NYC with all my heart and soul.

So now to show it off with some images posted below. If you want to view the windows in person and happen to be in NYC, check them out out:
