Cibeles Fashion Week: TCN

My very last update on Madrid Fashion Week and this time…I saved the best for last! I literally LOVED TCN´s collection.  It´s just so fun and funky and urban and amazing, I would die to own this line!  Fantastic.  See for yourself!

PS AM COMPLETELY OBSESSED with the giant horsehair braids the models are wearing…please someone get me one immed.

Cibeles Fashion Week: Sita Murt

´Yeah…you´ve really got me girl…you got me so I can´t sleep at night…´ blared loud and clear though the speakers at the Sita Murt runway show.

Perhaps some sublimal messaging there…aka these clothes are so bossy you just can´t forget them!

Sita Murt did have some fantastic designs…so far they aren´t keeping me up at night but maybe they´ll get a few of you!

What I enjoyed about the Sita Murt show was that everything was light, airy, and relaxed.  It showcased a line of easy living.  You can throw on this linen dress and flip flops and go anywhere.  Wearablity is always a nice when seeing a runway show, because often times they are very avant garde and out of touch with what a true woman would wear.  Not this line though, the collection was refreshingly down to earth, while still being stylish.  I especially enjoyed her cardigans and vests.

Cibeles Fashion Week: Ana Locking

´Under Beauty´.  The name of Ana Locking´s collection this year.  I will be honest and say I loved the girls clothes, and then mens clothes, in my opinion, were horrendous…I don´t know a single man that would wear them. In contrast I adored the womenswear, it included a lot of separates and patterns that I would absolutely wear.  Again trending we see wide leg pants and a jumpsuit

Love this model…saw her walk in the Jesus del Pozo show, among a million others…anyone know her name? It´s like shes everywhere but I can´t remember her name!

Okay beautiful womenswear, now onto SCARY menswear…I don´t know…perhaps I am off but what do you guys think about this???

Cibeles Fashion Week: Juanjo Oliva

Juanjo Oliva´s collection this year, called ´Archive´ was concise, basic and beautiful.  The designs were mainly evening wear, long, with slits.  The color palette was clear, black, white, navy, and pink.  Nothing else. Oliva had a point to make, and he made it.

I think the pink dresses, in general (there were about 3 or 4 in total) were my favorites. I just though the color and fabric choice was really exceptional.

Another pink one…excellence!

Cibeles Fashion Week: Amaya Arzuaga

Amaya Arzuaga´s collection had a very modern look to it this season.  The designs were mostly bicolored and featured trends such as volume and cutouts.  The collection as a whole showed lots of leg, there were several mini-skirts and shorts.  I did enjoy the collection because it was simple but focused on one basic trend per piece, and was never ´over designed´.

Cibeles Fashion Week: Ailanto

This year marked the 10th anniversary of Basque designer Ailanto´s presence in Cibeles Fashion Week.   The collection this year was simple but in no way boring.  The collection seemed earthy for me, a lot of beige and brown, and off white, using fabrics like linen, cotton and leather. My favorite looks were the ones with shorts, which you will see below.

LOVE these leather shorts

Cibeles Fashion Week: Ion Fitz

Ion Fitz had an collection this year that showcased a variety of fabrics and volumes which I enjoyed.  His show was a bit different that what I saw on the other runways, which I thought was nice, every once and awhile it´s nice to see something individual, but not completely weird and out there.  It´s a little different but still very wearable.  I suppose it´s what every designer aims for: individual, but still trendy and wearable.  Excellent collection, Ion Fitz!

This top is very on trend but I have never seen in it a bright blue satin…it´s a bit crazy but I love it!

Cibeles Fashion Week: Kina Fernández

Kina Fernández presented a beautiful two part collection, one casual and one evening wear that was based on inspiration from India and the Himalayas.  You can see the inspiration in a lot of the pieces, several of them have a kind of ´sari´look to them, especially the evening wear.

I am not really sure if this is a swimsuit coverup, nightgown…unsure but I love it, esp the color

I love the two tone here, and the color combo is perfect.

You can definitely see that India type influence here.  Also love these two colors combined.

My favorite look, I would wear this out right now if I could!

Cibeles Fashion Week: Hannibal Laguna

Glammed out models walked the runway to disco tunes, wearing red carpet style gowns and sexy dresses.  The Hannibal Laguna show was all about glamour.  Obviously these are special occasion dresses, but I thought they really came with a twist, and I enjoyed the show.

This gown started the show and I was immediately hooked.

I´m not usually a fan of purple but this tone is rich I really do like it.

One of my faves

This is just gorgeous. I would love to wear this to some fabulous event!

Cibeles Fashion Week: Teresa Helbig

This show wowed me, I have to say.  The main reason I enjoyed this show so much was because the looks were youthful, yet still elegant. Somtimes high fashion can look aged, and this show to me was, well, FUN!  I would wear almost all of the things in her line, and while still being high fashion, seemed accessible for the average woman.  I also felt inspired by her designs, like I could put on one of her looks and take over the world!  You don´t often see this in runway shows.   I hope you enjoy her collection as much as I did.

This look is by far one of my favorites, I adore it

My other favorite look- I love the green and this is just so alluring
