My name is Lori and I am an American living in Madrid. This website showcases the best of Madrid from an American expat viewpoint.
My past includes a 2 year stint in NYC working as an assistant buyer and planner at Lord and Taylor. My favorite fashion cities are of course Madrid, NYC, Milan, and London. My favorite designers include but are not limited to Lanvin, ABS, DVF, Marni, Michael Kors, Marc Jacobs, BCBG, Andres Sarda, Millie…and you can find me wearing anything from DKNY to Free People to sale rack H and M. I also love great finds at thrift stores and vintage shops. I get a lot of inspiration from Project Runway, European Vogue magazines and of course the girls on all my favorite shows, Serena, Blair, Naomi and Adriana!
I also write for a menswear fashion webpage, Best Dressed Man on the Planet, and an online magazine, ¡VayaMadrid!.
I love the world of beauty and spa and have been lucky enough to do marketing and PR for many US based spas and their product lines. In my spare time I love doing makeup and hair and am always hunting for new products and ideas!
This is my 5th year in Madrid, and I may be biased, but I think it´s one of the greatest cities in the world! Although I am based in here in Madrid, I enjoy seeing what´s happening in other big fashion cities, especially NYC.
