Bill Gaytten has been named creative direction for John Gallino´s fashion house. Galliano said he began receiving treatment for addiction to alcohol, sleeping pills and valium at a clinic in Arizona, USA (either Canyon Ranch or Miraval…though that´s just my expert opinion). John Galliano told a Paris court this week that addictions to alcohol and drugs left him unable to remember anti-Semitic and racist attacks that bar patrons said he made. He apologized for “the sadness this affair has caused.” Obviously a replacement was needed and Bill Gaytten seemed like the right fit.
Bill Gaytten has worked for the company for 17 years and is known for his draping, cuts and patterns. Let´s see how it goes!
